FFY 2011 State Plan Amendment

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) assists low-income households, particularly those with the lowest incomes that pay a high proportion of household income for home energy, in meeting their immediate home energy needs. The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Act of 1981, as amended, was included as part of the Coats Human Services Reauthorization Act of 1998, P. L. 105-285.

The final version of the FFY 2011 LIHEAP Abbreviated State Plan will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
