MEMORANDUM FOR RSB EXECUTIVE STAFF, DISTRICT SUPERVISORS, REHABILITATION COUNSELORS AND CENTRAL OFFICE BILL PAYING UNIT

Subject:             Back-Dated Authorizations

In order to better control back-dated authorizations, I am requesting that the district supervisors review and sign all such authorizations, effective May 1, 1996. If Central Office receives a backdated authorization without the district supervisor's signature, it will be sent to the district supervisor. Our hope is to assist staff in managing this difficult, complex area.
