After June 30, 2005, paper Medicare/Medicaid billings (stickers) will no longer be accepted for those Medicare/Medicaid claims that do not crossover automatically from Medicare. Paper adjustment forms for paid Medicare/Medicaid crossovers will also not be accepted after June 30, 2005. All Medicare/Medicaid paper crossover claims and paper crossover adjustments will be returned to providers if received by Medicaid after June 30, 2005, regardless of the date of service.
The new Internet crossover forms that will be available on July 1, 2005, on www.emomed.com will replace the paper crossover claim and adjustment process. Instructions for completing these forms will be found using the "HELP" key located at the bottom of each form.
There will be no exceptions to this policy. Providers must be prepared to use a clearinghouse, billing agent or use the Medicaid billing website at www.emomed.com for billing and to maintain a business relationship with the Division of Medical Services.
