Children
The department believes that a safe and permanent home with family members is the best place for a child to grow up. Communities who support families with housing, jobs, social and educational needs create strong healthy families. Families need to make key decisions regarding their children's needs and that a cohesive system of child-focused, family-centered, community oriented, timely and accountable services provides the best support for children and their families.
