Medical Reviews

Child Fatality Review Program panels and child sexual abuse teams and investigators needing expert medical opinions or reviews on complex cases of physical and sexual abuse may contact STAT through it's 24-hour hotline number at 800-487-1626.  Dr. Beal, a forensic pediatrician who is now in private practice in Columbia, Missouri, is currently STAT's medical consultant. Dr. Beal has testified as an expert witness on child abuse issues in many Missouri criminal court cases.

When the request for medical review is made through STAT, STAT will pay Dr. Beal for all expenses associated with the consultation, report and required court appearances.
