On February 16, 2010, the Missouri Department of Social Services, MO HealthNet Division, in partnership with the St. Louis Regional Health Commission, submitted a Section 1115 demonstration project to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The project will preserve and improve primary and specialty care access for uninsured residents of St. Louis city and county until access is assured through a more comprehensive coverage model. If approved, effective date of the demonstration would be July 1, 2010.
